Silksong: Trail's End Wish

The Trail’s End Wish is a Wayfarer Wish you can undertake in Hollow Knight: Silksong. This quest involves tracking down the cartographer Shakra after she ventures into the dangerous Bilewater region. Your reward is the Throwing Ring, a versatile tool excellent for crowd control.

How to Start the Trail’s End Wish

This quest becomes available on the Bellhart Wishboard only after you have purchased every map that Shakra sells. Once this condition is met, interact with the Wishboard and accept the “Trail’s End” wish to begin your search.

Important Quest Info

Shakra will not appear at her final location in Bilewater until you have officially accepted this quest from the Wishboard. Do not waste time searching for her beforehand.

Trail’s End Wish Walkthrough

Unlike hunts, this quest doesn’t involve tracking clues. Your objective is simply to find Shakra’s final destination in Bilewater.

1. Navigate to Bilewater

   Once the wish is active, make your way to the Bilewater region. The path ahead is challenging, so prepare accordingly.

2. Secure the Western Bench (Recommended)

   Before venturing deep into the region, we strongly advise you to unlock the bench on the western side of the map. This area requires careful platforming, but securing this checkpoint will save a significant amount of time if you are defeated while searching for Shakra.

3. Find Shakra in the Northeast

   Shakra is located in a hidden pathway in the northeasternmost part of Bilewater. Explore this area thoroughly until you discover a concealed entrance. She will be waiting for you inside. Speak with her to complete the quest.

Reward: Throwing Ring

For completing her wish, Shakra will give you the Throwing Ring, a unique tool that Hornet can throw.

• Effect: A thrown tool that bounces off of enemies. It is particularly effective for damaging and finishing off multiple ranged or airborne enemies from a distance.

The Throwing Ring is an incredibly useful tool for managing groups of enemies without putting yourself at risk. In areas filled with flying foes or pesky ranged attackers, this tool can clear a path safely and efficiently.
