How to Get the Reaper Crest

The Reaper Crest is hidden within a mini-dungeon called the Chapel of the Reaper, located in the Greymoor area. The path requires some platforming skill.

1. Find the Starting Point: Travel to the firefly Inn known as Halfway Home in Greymoor. From the inn, head left. The goal is to reach an elevated area roughly above the Flea Caravan’s arrival spot.

2. Follow the Path: Climb up and to the left from the Halfway Home area. You will need to use your dash to parkour across a series of platforms. You’ll know you’re on the right track when you see a pathway lit with candles. Follow this path to a door.

3. Navigate the Chapel: Once inside, follow the path downwards and then head right. You will encounter a large, spinning wheel with spikes. Use your pogo (downward strike) on the spinning blades to bounce across to the next platform. Repeat this for the second wheel to reach the top and hit a pin, opening the path upwards.

4. Claim the Crest: Continue platforming to the very top of the chamber. You will find a large, dormant platform. To awaken the Crest, you must use your Bind (heal) ability on the platform three times. After the third Bind, the Reaper’s Crest is yours.

Primary Perk: Reaping Silk

The main draw of this Crest is its passive ability to extract extra Silk from enemies with every successful slash. This is invaluable for players who rely on Silk-intensive skills or need to heal often during difficult fights.

Altered Moveset

The Reaper Crest trades Hornet’s default pogo-stab for a wider, arcing slash.

• Heavy Cleave (Standard Attack): A slower but powerful horizontal slash with a wide arc.

• Dashing Cleave (Dash Attack): Allows you to perform a sideways cleave while dashing, providing great mobility and damage.

• Downward Arc Slash (Downward Attack): Replaces the default diagonal dive. This wide, arcing slash below Hornet is excellent for pogoing on enemies and hazards, as its hitbox is more forgiving.

Combine Flea Brew (reward from The Lost Fleas Wish quest) with the Flint Slate (found behind a Simple Key door in the Docks). This pairing dramatically increases your damage and attack speed, mitigating the Reaper’s inherent slowness.

Defensive Combo: The Silk Engine

Pair the Warding Bell (found in the Far Fields) with the Druid’s Eye (reward from the Berry Picking quest).
