Section titled “Understanding Wishes in Silksong”Wishes come in many forms, but they generally fall into a few categories. Knowing what you’re looking for can help you prioritize your journey.
Wishwall Tasks
Found on bulletin boards in settlements like Bone Bottom. These are often requests from the community, like gathering common materials or hunting pests.
Character Wishes
Given directly by specific NPCs. These quests are often personal, tied to a character’s story, and can lead to unique lore insights and rewards.
Hunt Wishes
These tasks test your combat prowess by requiring you to defeat a quota of specific enemies, or hunt down a single, powerful foe (a Grand Hunt).
Wayfarer Wishes
Involves finding a specific location or a lost character for an NPC. These quests will challenge your navigation and exploration skills across Pharloom.
Gather Wishes
Requires you to find specific, often rare, items or resources from the world and bring them back to an NPC to fulfill their request.
Donate Wishes
These quests ask for a certain quantity of common items or materials, such as Shell Shards, to be donated to an NPC or a community cause.
Major NPC Storylines
Section titled “Major NPC Storylines”Similar to the Delicate Flower or Grimm Troupe quests from Hollow Knight, these are long-form quests tied to the stories and objectives of specific characters.
