Fine Pins Wish

Fine Pins is a Hunt Wish in Hollow Knight: Silksong that requires you to collect high-quality pins from the formidable choirbugs of the Citadel. This quest is a good way to earn a substantial amount of Rosaries by farming specific enemies.

To access the Fine Pins wish, you must first establish the Songclave sanctuary.

  1. Defeat the Last Judge You must progress through the main story until you have defeated the Last Judge and gained access to the Underworks.

  2. Reach the Choral Chambers Make your way through the Underworks to arrive at the Choral Chambers region.

  3. Create Songclave Climb up the right side of the Choral Chambers biome until you reach the First Shrine. Attack the silk cocooning the large bell at the top right to ring it. This action transforms the area into the safe hub of Songclave and spawns a bench.

  4. Wait for the Wish Board After creating Songclave, the Wish Board will be built, making the “Fine Pins” quest available.

1. Accept the Wish

Head to the Wish Board in Songclave to officially accept the “Fine Pins” wish. The quest details will be added to your log.

2. Hunt Choristors and Reeds

Your targets are two specific pin-wielding enemies found throughout the Choral Chambers. The pins are not a guaranteed drop; look for a distinct white glow on a defeated enemy’s body, which indicates a Fine Pin has dropped.

Choristor

A knight-like bug that stays on the ground. It uses a mix of melee strikes and ranged pin throws. Watch out for its spinning jump attack.

Reed

A flying creature that can be aggressive with melee attacks but will also throw its pin. It can parry your attacks, so be cautious.

3. The Best Farming Spot

While these enemies are found all over the Choral Chambers, the most efficient place to farm them is right next to the Grand Bellway Ventrica station.

  1. From the bench inside the Grand Bellway station, head outside. There is a Choristor that spawns immediately nearby. Hornet fighting a Choristor to get a Fine Pin to drop.

  2. Defeat the Choristor. If it drops a Fine Pin, collect it. Hornet collecting a glowing Fine Pin from the ground. Hornet collects another glowing Fine Pin, adding to her inventory.

  3. Return to the bench inside the station and rest. This will respawn the Choristor.

  4. Repeat this quick loop until you have collected all 10 Fine Pins.

4. Complete the Quest

Once you collect the 10th Fine Pin, the quest will automatically complete. There is no need to return to the Wish Board.

Fine Pins Quest Reward

Completing this hunt rewards you with a valuable consumable item.

Reward: Heavy Rosary Necklace

This is a string threaded with a mix of common and fine rosaries. It can be consumed from your inventory at any time to immediately gain 220 Rosaries. It’s perfect for when you’re short on cash for an urgent purchase or unlocking a new bench.
