Silksong: Wanderer Crest
The Wanderer Crest is a utility-focused Crest in Hollow Knight: Silksong designed for players who prioritize agility and exploration. Its moveset is the most similar to The Knight’s from the original Hollow Knight, making it a comfortable choice for series veterans.

How to Get Wanderer Crest
Section titled “How to Get Wanderer Crest”Acquiring the Wanderer Crest is a multi-step journey that requires several key items and abilities, leading you through the hidden Wormways, an area also referred to as the Bonegrave.

Obtain the Sprint Ability: First, you need the Sprint ability, found in the Deep Docks. To get there, you must first acquire the Silk Spear in Mosshome and defeat the Bell Beast boss.

Acquire a Simple Key: You will need one Simple Key. The most accessible one early on can be purchased from the merchant Pebb in Bone Bottom for 500 Rosary Beads.

Enter the Wormways: With the key and Sprint, ride the elevator from Bone Bottom to Mosshome. From the chamber above the elevator, use Sprint to cross the hanging cages. Continue through the next chamber, outrunning the Puking Bug, and use the Simple Key to unlock the path west into the Wormways.

Find the Crest: In the Wormways, drop into the first large pit and follow the tunnels downward. Exit to the right into a mossy chamber and drop into the water below. Head left to find a small hut. Fight your way to the lowest level inside to discover the Wanderer Crest.
Wanderer Crest Moveset
Section titled “Wanderer Crest Moveset”The Wanderer Crest moveset is all about speed, precision, and agility, feeling very familiar to Hollow Knight players.
- Standard Attack: A fast, short-ranged slash forward.
- Upward Attack: A very quick upward swipe.
- Dash Attack: Hornet slashes in front of her without stopping her dash momentum, allowing for continuous attacks while moving (similar to the Crissaegrim from Castlevania). Requires repeated button taps.
- Downward Attack: A quick, short, vertical slash downward. This removes the 45-degree angle of the Hunter Crest, making pogoing much more intuitive and reliable.
- Bind (Heal): A standard heal that restores 3 Masks.
Slots & Upgrades
Section titled “Slots & Upgrades”The Wanderer Crest is geared towards exploration, starting with two Yellow slots and one Red slot. It has unlockable slots for two Blue Tools and one additional Yellow Tool, allowing it to be customized for more defensive or utility-focused builds later on.
