Building Up Songclave Quest
Building Up Songclave is a Donate Wish in Hollow Knight: Silksong. After ringing the Bell of the First Shrine, the empty structure transforms into Songclave, a small settlement near the Citadel. Donating 300 Rosaries to its Wishwell Board helps develop this new hub and opens future quests and NPC events.
Quest Overview How to Start the Quest
Section titled “How to Start the Quest”The Building Up Songclave quest becomes available after you ring the Bell of the First Shrine, located near the Choral Chambers beneath the Citadel.
This action transforms the quiet shrine into the settlement known as Songclave, attracting new inhabitants and activating its Wishwell Board.
Leave the area and return later — new requests will appear on the board, including Building Up Songclave.

Access the Songclave Wishwell Board
Section titled “Access the Songclave Wishwell Board”After ringing the bell and returning later, interact with the new Wishwell Board in Songclave to view available wishes.

Donate 300 Rosaries
Section titled “Donate 300 Rosaries”Choose the Building Up Songclave wish and donate 300 Rosaries. The wish will complete immediately after the transaction.
Quest Completion and Rewards
Section titled “Quest Completion and Rewards”Completing this quest invests directly into Songclave’s growth:
- New Wishes appear on the board as the settlement expands.
- The NPC Sherma will arrive and later post his own quest.
- Songclave becomes a livelier, populated area with new dialogue and story connections.
Tip: This quest functions similarly to Bellhart’s Glory and Bone Bottom Repairs, marking Songclave as another evolving hub in Pharloom.
