Location: The Stage (Choral Chambers)
Rewards: Claw Mirror Tool, Shortcut
How to Unlock the Trobbio Fight
Section titled “How to Unlock the Trobbio Fight”Trobbio’s stage is initially inaccessible. You need to open a shortcut by going the long way around first.
-
Defeat the Cogwork Dancers This boss must be defeated to open the path forward.
-
Navigate the Whispering Vaults After the Cogwork Dancers, drop down into the Cogwork Core and make your way through the Whispering Vaults to find the path leading to the right-side entrance of The Stage.
-
Activate the Lever Once you’re on the other side of the locked Stage Door, jump up into the rafters and drop down onto a golden lever. Hitting this lever opens the door, creating a permanent shortcut from the Choral Chambers.
Build & Preparation
Section titled “Build & Preparation”This build focuses on a mix of safe, passive damage and high-impact punishes, with strong defensive options.
This combo is excellent for passive damage. Consuming the brew creates a poison cloud that follows you, damaging Trobbio as you dodge his attacks.
Allows you to cling to the upper walls, providing a safe refuge to heal or avoid his ground-based AoE attacks.
A high-risk, high-reward tool. Use it on Trobbio while he’s stationary in his tornado form for a massive damage burst.
The random chance to negate damage can be a lifesaver in this chaotic fight.
How to Beat Trobbio
Section titled “How to Beat Trobbio”This fight is about controlling space and punishing specific moves. Stay mobile and don’t get greedy.
-
Pogo the Tornado Spin Trobbio’s tornado attack is your main and most reliable window for damage. Jump over him as he charges across the stage, then stay above him and pogo on his head.
-
Use Walls for Refuge When the floor is covered in fireworks or bombs, use Ascendant’s Grip to cling to the upper walls. This is the safest place to wait out his AoE attacks and provides a good window to heal.
-
Hit Projectiles Away Trobbio will often throw explosive projectiles. Instead of just dodging them, you can time a needle strike to hit them away from you, clearing the area and preventing their secondary explosions.
-
Unleash on the Stun After taking enough damage, Trobbio will be stunned and take a bow. This is a huge opening. Rush in and deal as much damage as possible. It’s often better to be aggressive here than to heal.

Attack Patterns & Counters
Section titled “Attack Patterns & Counters”All of Trobbio’s direct attacks deal two masks of damage, but simple contact damage is only one mask.
Phase 1 Attacks
Section titled “Phase 1 Attacks”Trobbio dashes back, spins into a tornado, and charges across the arena. After bouncing off the wall, he releases two arcing whirlwinds.
Counter: Jump and dash over the initial charge, then pogo on his head while he’s spinning in place. This is your best damage window.
Trobbio throws three bombs that explode in either horizontal or vertical patterns. Smoke telegraphs the direction of the blast.
Counter: Watch the smoke to predict the blast lines. Either move to a safe spot or, if you’re close, hit the projectiles with your needle to knock them away.
He leaps into the air with a bright flash, summoning 4-5 circles of fireworks on the ground that explode after a delay.
Counter: Watch for the circle indicators on the ground and move to a safe spot. If he lands near you and there are no circles, you can get a quick hit in.
Trobbio dives under the stage, causing floor tiles to lift as he moves, before popping out of a trapdoor. He may pop out to attack or throw projectiles.
Counter: Watch the moving tiles to track his position. Stand near where he will emerge to either punish him as he comes out or hit away any projectiles he throws.
Phase 2 Attacks
Section titled “Phase 2 Attacks”The stage’s trapdoors now periodically fire lasers straight up. Trobbio can still use the trapdoors to emerge while the lasers are active.
Counter: The lasers are clearly telegraphed. Avoid standing on glowing trapdoors. This attack is designed to limit your movement, so play more carefully and focus on dodging.
Rewards
Section titled “Rewards”Upon defeat, Trobbio makes a grand, theatrical exit, bowing to the crowd before exploding in a harmless burst of fireworks and dropping his reward.
