My Missing Courier Wish

My Missing Courier is a “Wish” side quest available in Bellhart after you lift the curse upon the town. This quest tasks you with finding a lost courier named Tipp, who has vanished somewhere between Shellwood and Bone Bottom.

This quest is given by Frey, the local shopkeeper, and involves a unique tracking mechanic. Completing it unlocks some highly valuable items in Frey’s shop.

How to Start the My Missing Courier Wish

To begin this quest, you must first complete the main story quest “The Threadspun Town,” which involves breaking the curse on Bellhart. Once the town is restored and bustling with NPCs, interact with the Bellhart Wishwall. This will make the quest available.

Finally, speak to Frey, the shopkeeper standing next to the Wishwall, to officially accept the task and get your first clues.

Recommended Ability: Drifter's Cloak

While not strictly required, having the Drifter’s Cloak (Glide) ability will make navigating the path to Tipp significantly easier, and it allows you to use a valuable shortcut. It is highly recommended to acquire this ability before starting the search.

Silksong: Tipp Location

To find Tipp, you must follow a trail of his dropped goods. When you find a small pile of items on the ground, interact with it to reveal a shimmering trail for a short period. Follow it to the next clue.

1. Find the First Clue (Shellwood)

   Your search begins not in Bellhart, but in the nearby Shellwood region. Near the main path, you’ll find the first pile of dropped goods. Interact with them to start the trail.

2. Follow the Trail to Bone Bottom

   The trail will lead you down and to the left, deeper into the connection between Shellwood and Bone Bottom. If you lose the trail, continue exploring downwards and westwards; you’ll eventually pick up the next clue.

3. The Bone Bottom Shortcut (Glide Required)

   As you enter the upper parts of Bone Bottom, the trail will seem to loop around a large chasm. Instead of following it, look for a distinct golden platform. From here, jump and use your Drifter’s Cloak to glide directly to the right across the gap. This will save you a significant amount of tricky platforming.

4. The Final Ascent

   After the shortcut, you’ll find the next pile of goods. The trail will now lead upwards. As you follow it, look for a large cage-like structure to your left. The path forward is not by climbing the main wall, but by jumping on top of this cage and continuing your ascent from there.

5. Rescue Tipp

   At the top of this path, you will find Tipp, cornered by two aggressive ambush bugs. Defeat the enemies quickly to protect the courier.

6. Complete the Quest

   With the enemies gone, speak to Tipp. After a brief conversation, he will thank you and fly off, safely returning to Bellhart. The quest is now complete.

Reward: Frey’s New Stock

Your direct reward is the gratitude of a courier, but the true prize is the expanded inventory at Frey’s shop in Bellhart. Return to him to find several new items for sale.

• Veteran’s Analysis: This quest should be a top priority as soon as it becomes available. The Spool Fragment is a direct upgrade to your core resource meter, which is always essential. The Multibinder is the star, however. It’s a high-risk, high-reward Tool perfect for boss fights. The longer healing animation can leave you vulnerable, but the massive heal it provides can turn the tide of a difficult battle, saving you Silk in the long run. It’s less useful for general exploration where quick, small heals are better, but it’s a must-have for any serious boss-hunter’s arsenal.
