Garb of the Pilgrims Wish

Garb of the Pilgrims is one of the first Wishes you can accept from the Wishwell in Bone Bottom. This is a straightforward collection quest that tasks you with gathering the tattered clothing of mindless pilgrims. It’s an excellent way to earn a significant amount of currency early in the game.

How to Start Garb of the Pilgrims Wish

This quest becomes available as soon as the Wishwell is constructed. To unlock this, you must first progress through The Marrow.

1. Defeat the Bell Beast

   Proceed through The Marrow until you find, free, and defeat the Bell Beast. This will tame the creature and unlock it as a fast travel point.

2. Fast Travel to Bone Bottom

   Use your new Bell Beast companion to fast travel back to Bone Bottom.

3. Accept the Quest at the Wishwell

   Once you arrive, head to the surface to find that Flick The Fixer has completed the Wishwell. Interact with it and accept the “Garb of the Pilgrims” quest to make it active.

How Shawls Drop

The Pilgrim Shawls will only drop from Pilgrim enemies after you have accepted this quest. Once the quest is active, defeated Pilgrims will glow. Approach their bodies and press the interact button to loot the shawl. The drop rate is 100% until you have all 12.

Recommended Pilgrim Shawls Farm Location

The absolute best and most efficient place to farm the shawls is an area called Mosshome, which connects to The Marrow.

Path to Mosshome: Fast travel to The Marrow. From the Bell Beast’s landing spot, head all the way to the left, and exit the screen. Continue left across the next screen to enter the first room of Mosshome.

This initial room of Mosshome contains six Pilgrim enemies, making it a perfect farming spot.

How to Complete Wish

Once you have 12 Pilgrim Shawls in your inventory, the enemies will stop dropping them.

Fast travel back to Bone Bottom, head to the surface, and interact with the Wishwell again. You will now have an option to “Turn In” the shawls. Do so to complete the quest.

Reward: Rosary Necklace

• Item: Rosary Necklace
• Effect: A consumable item. When broken, it grants you 120 Rosaries.

Veteran's Analysis

This is good early-game boost. The most important feature of the Rosary Necklace is that it is an item, meaning the 120 Rosaries it contains cannot be lost on death as long as you keep the necklace intact. My advice is to hold onto it until you need a specific amount for a key purchase, like a map from Shakra, a new Tool from Pebb, or unlocking a new bench. It’s the perfect emergency fund.
