Sylphsong (Silk Regeneration)
Sylphsong is a unique, passive Ancestral Art in Hollow Knight: Silksong. Acquired by binding a mysterious being named Eva, this ability allows Hornet to rapidly regenerate Silk simply by resting at a Bench, making it an incredibly powerful tool for resource management and preparing for tough challenges.
This guide will walk you through the significant Crest upgrade requirements needed to unlock Sylphsong, the exact location of Eva in Weavenest Atla, and the critical pre-requisite related to the Twisted Bud curse.

How to Get Sylphsong
Section titled “How to Get Sylphsong”Sylphsong is granted by a character named Eva after you “bind” her. To do this, you must first prove your worth by significantly upgrading your Crests and then find her in a hidden area within Moss Grotto. The ability can be acquired as early as Act 2.

Upgrade Your Crests You must upgrade your Crests using Memory Lockets. Eva will be ready to bind with you when you have unlocked a total of 32 tool slots across all your Crests. (Note: The Hunter Crest’s base slots do not count towards this total). This is roughly equivalent to fully upgrading 6 Crests.

Find Weavenest Atla in Moss Grotto The entrance to this hidden area is located opposite the first Bench in Moss Grotto, on the left. You must play the Needolin to open the sealed door.

Navigate the Area Once inside, head right until you find a room with two power cells on the ceiling. Strike both to restore power. Proceed to the middle of the area and stand on the central platform to be teleported to the lower section.

Reach Eva From the lower section, head right and strike the tangled wires blocking your path multiple times to clear it. Continue following this path to the end to find Eva.

Bind Eva Speak with Eva and accept her offer to bind her to your shell. Doing so will grant you the Sylphsong ability and unlock the “Entwined” achievement.
The Twisted Bud Curse

Section titled “How to Use Sylphsong”Sylphsong is a completely passive ability.
- Rest at any Bench: Simply sit at a bench to begin regenerating health as normal.
- Automatic Silk Regeneration: After a 1-second delay, a glowing symbol will appear above Hornet, and she will begin to regenerate 5 strands of Silk per second. No additional input is required.
