The curse presents you with two distinct paths.

While cursed, travel to the Cradle and defeat the final boss of Act 2. This high-difficulty challenge unlocks a secret achievement and ending. You will miss this opportunity if you cure yourself or progress to Act 3 first.

This is the intended quest path that will permanently unlock the Witch Crest.

  1. Speak with Pavo in Bellhart After getting cursed, you’ll awaken in a lower part of Shellwood. Make your way to the village of Bellhart and speak to the robed NPC Pavo to get your first clue.

  2. Find the Bell Hermit Pavo will direct you to someone lurking below Bellhart. Go to the Bellway station and find a hidden wall on the right. Below, you will find the Bell Hermit, who will tell you the witch’s name is Yarnaby and that she resides in Greymoor.

  3. Find Yarnaby in Greymoor Following the hermit’s clue, travel to the bell-shaped home in Greymoor’s upper-left corner and speak with Yarnaby, the doctor who can perform the cure.

Hornet speaking to Yarnaby, who explains the need for a special part to complete the operation.

  4. Accept the Infestation Operation Yarnaby gives you a new sub-quest to find the necessary component.
